My older boys smoked a brisket for the meat. We made the leek and mushroom risotto, sweet potato salad, and a green bean casserole.
Green bean casserole
ingredients
1 pound fresh green beans, cut and steamed in the instant pot for 1 minute, drained and placed in a casserole dish.
1 1/2 cups of cannalini beans, cooked, rinsed and drained
1 TBS onion soup mix
1 onion, sauteed
2 garlic cloves, sauteed
2 TBS tapioca starch
2 cups vegetable broth
1 can fried onions
Directions:
add all ingredients but the green beans to a blender. Add the blended mix toa fry pan to thicken.
When thickened pour over green beans
bake at 350 for 20 minutes
add fried onions and bake another 10 minutes
